Bamboo wood should NOT be cleaned using the dishwasher. Rinse your board thoroughly.
Cutting boards can be dried by placing it upright for a few hours. Make sure it is completely dry before storing so it cannot build up mold or bacteria.
Never leave food on the cutting board or leave the board soaking in water for extended periods of time. Bamboo is quite absorbent, drawing in liquids and odors.
While bamboo is an enduring wood, we suggest oiling your boards every few months. Use food safe products such as linseed oil, re-fractionated coconut oil, or beeswax.
Apply to the board liberally and wipe off excess.
Allow the board to set overnight before use.
